PointSIX Motorsports is the motorsports branch of Valley Motorwerks, who is a premier independent BMW and Mini service repair center located in Northern California. PointSIX Motorsports is actively involved with NASA, SCCA and BMWCCA racing activities, serving as the title sponsor for the Northern California Spec E30 BMW

1997-2001 Started Team Midnight Performance with fellow driving Paul Ko who shared a passion for motorsports. We first teamed up in engineering school to compete in the challenging Formula SAE competition for University of California, Davis.
2002-2005 Campaigned in both Spec Miata and Improved Touring Sedan class with much success, capturing 3 championships over 3 years.
2006 The team switched platforms by building two Acura Integras to take on the Honda Challenge series. Success was immediate as I captured 1st place in the championship along with 2 poles, 3 wins and 6 podium finishes. The other car claimed 3rd place in the championship.
2007-2008 The team got its first taste in professional racing at the 25 hours of Thunderhill. The team finished a respectable 7th and 8th place in consecutive years against factory supported teams.
2009– present The team’s rise in the professional ranks continued by campaigning in the United States Touring Car Championship. The team struck gold in its first 2 races by winning the top rookie of the race and qualifier awards. The team has now grown to over 20 dedicated team members with specialists in driver coaching, racecar rental, motorsports contract and public relations.
2010 The team spent the majority of the year building a new 2001 BMW 325is touring car. The car debut in August and was an immediate success. The car finished an impressive 3rd overall in its debut professional race.

BMW Touring Car: The primary focus for 2011 is to challenge the overall podium spots at the 2011 25hours of Thunderhill in December. This will be a herculean effort as we will be taking on professional teams with factory support. In order to assure our competitiveness, we will swap in a blue-printed and balanced 2005 M3 engine that puts out over 350hp.
